Up for Sale

Telford Grove is up for sale, for personal reasons, and provides an opportunity for an existing grower to expand with our sought after varieties or for a new grower to acquire his/her first orchard - training can be organised in a handover period.

We require a quick sale and the asking price is $250,000. 

The orchard is self sufficient, and all machinery is included.  This includes a new frost fan ($50,0000),  2 tractors (one with a fork lift), and a packing shed and coolroom.

A 3 bedroom weatherboard home provides lodging or could be rented.

The blocks is 63 acres across 3 separate titles and is just over 1/2 planted with mostly young trees.  There are 2 entrances and all 3 blocks are connected.  There are impressive varieties, including our Venus, Poppicots, Earlicots, Apache and all the Solar Varieties.  A good selection Peaches (white and yellow), plums and some nectarine varieties, as well as some interesting trial varieties. 

Existing crop is scheduled for late October early November and appears to be a very good crop, with potential crop value possibly exceeding the asking price of $250,000.

For interested parties, we are prepared to share the crop value, but with this we request the following:

1) $20,000 up front payment to secure your right to purchase and increase working capital.  This is refundable should buyer wish to not proceed.

2) You make yourself available throughout the harvest, to aid the handover, contribute, and aid in transparency.

3) Settlement can occur during the harvest or after.

4) The net profit of the produce (sale price - freight - packaging) will be split equally between buyer and seller.

This give the buyer the opportunity to acquire the Orchard at a largely decreased rate, provides an opportunity for a handover, and allows both parties to benefit from this years crop.  The harvest is generally finished before Christmas, with only smaller quantities remaining.  These will be pro-rated based on performance on existing results.
